44th Annual Conference
Sharing Knowledge to Prepare for the Future
April 8 - 11, 2018
Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort, Orlando, FL USA
FROM ATA President - Filip Vande Cappelle:
ATA just concluded its 2018 Annual Conference in Orlando and much to our satisfaction, the conference has been a remarkable success! We would like to thank each one of you for travelling to Orlando and sharing your precious time with us.
Our appreciation goes out to our presenters who kindly and openly deployed us their expertise, either in the general track or the species-related breakout sessions. The presentations were at very high level of expertise, as the many positive reactions and interactions shows.
Furthermore, we would like to express our special thanks to our partners and sponsors for their substantial support. Without their financial contribution, we could not have organized such an interesting conference at an affordable rate.
The inspiring presentations from experts in the various areas of live animal transportation are giving lots of food for thought which our attendees took home. Many of you who came to the conference gave us very positive feedback and once again it was clearly shown that there is still an enormous knowledge to be absorbed and shared, even after being in the live animal shipping industry for many years. During the extended networking possibilities, many new friends were made, and great ideas were exchanged among the attendees.
Our ATA Board Members have already gathered many thoughts: issues to be looked at and ideas for our next Annual Conference which will be held in Budapest, the fairy-tale capital of Hungary. Mark your calendars now: 31 March – 3 April 2019. More information to follow in the next months through our website and newsletters.
But perhaps you, as a respected ATA Member or expert in the animal transportation industry, might also have innovative ideas: a proposal for an innovation from our organization or an idea for the next Conference? Or maybe you can recommend us an engaging speaker? If so, please do share this with us and we will be happy to consider this.
Remember… ATA is your organization where you can help to raise the standards and making the difference!
